Title: Environmental Project Manager

Location: California (Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 plus benefits (Depending on Experience)

The Role:

Are you a seasoned Environmental Project Manager ready to lead CEQA clearance efforts for transformative transportation, land use, urban design, and community planning initiatives across California? In this role, you'll blend environmental analysis with community outreach, collaborating closely with planning and design teams to navigate project constraints, produce vital environmental documents, and foster stakeholder engagement. Your expertise will ensure accurate documentation and successful project entitlement.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Environmental Planner brimming with energy and innovation to tackle complex community challenges head-on. As a client-focused leader, you'll adeptly manage NEPA and CEQA environmental review documents, while also spearheading strategic development, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring top-notch project quality. Your adeptness in marketing efforts, including proposal scopes and business development, will be invaluable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience, with at least 3 years in a project management support role.

  • Proficient in CEQA processes, from proposal to public hearing stages.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environmental studies, urban planning, technical writing, or related field.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a knack for multitasking within allocated budgets and schedules.

  • Demonstrated prowess in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) methodologies.

  • Experience with budget management procedures and tracking software.

  • A collaborative mindset, adept at fostering internal team synergy and client relationships.
