The Building Envelope Consultant will primarily perform waterproofing design, as well as contribute to the development of construction documents, details and specifications and will conduct field investigations, attend mediations and condition assessments to produce technical reports for clients. They will also be involved with forensic investigation, destructive and non-destructive testing, and litigation support.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Qualified candidates should have expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems. Candidates should have experience with repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings.
Ideal candidates should have a technical (Bachelors or higher) degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline; a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is also preferred.
