Project Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with an interest in our private sector projects to fill a key Project Architect / Project Manager role within our firm. Being licensed is not required however showing dedication working towards licensure is encouraged.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in an architectural firm is required
  • Strong project and team personnel management experience
  • Requires significant client contact and management
  • Works with Principals to develop proposals, process billings and manage consultants
  • Responsible for design management with strong design skills and a willingness to work on a diverse set of projects
  • Responsible for working drawings, budgeting, scheduling, specifications, planning and design on a given project with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities
  • Coordinates all trades and agencies related to building design while monitoring drawings
  • Responsible for supervision and quality-control review of support staff
  • A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in all different aspects of the profession
  • A team player
  • Revit Experience a plus

What You Will Do

• Design and plan complex architectural projects of varying types

• Manage multiple aspects of client, project coordination, and general contractors including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants

• Manage client relationships and team communication

• Resolve complex technical and design issues

• Maintain the project manual and specifications

• Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews

• Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction

• Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project


Your Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Architecture or Design preferred, with a rigorous design education

• 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale

• Registered Architect preferred

• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and 3ds Max

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Outstanding graphic presentation skills

• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituents

• Proven ability to lead and direct design teams and projects

• Desire to mentor and grow less experienced staff

• Conceptual designer and thinker
