Change Management Practitioner

Performs as a Change Management Practitioner for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Increment II Program to deliver organizational alignment products including jobs and teams, reporting relationships and skill requirements.Interacts with the Blue Printing and Prototyping and Demo teams to identify IPPS-A developed roles – fully understanding the functionality and capabilities.Assists in the alignment of IPPS-A roles to current user organization positions to ensure proper accountability of functionality.Communicates the alignment to the training development team in support of curriculum development.Communicates the alignment to other SI teams (Application Security and Audit); communicates with the user community to understand the impact of IPPS-A to their current job responsibilities by positions.Works closely with the IPPS-A Program Strategic Communications team to properly communicate organizational impacts, engage key stakeholders and change agent network personnel and synchronize messaging.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Change Management Practitioner for this position provides SI expert understanding and experience in applying the full range of IPPS-A roles and capabilities with an emphasis on the to-be user roles in the system.Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Analyzes and summarizes the impact of the new processes and technologies on the organization, including roles, jobs, teams, and performance measures.
  • Defines the job model to support the new processes and technology.
  • Assists in defining the system access needed to perform jobs in new system.
  • Identifies performance support and role/job technical requirements, and communicates them to the Technical team to ensure inclusion in technical estimates.
  • Develops transition materials to prepare end users for new roles in the IPPS-A system.Activities may include development of Role Mapping Workshops, Supervisor Workshops, User Orientations/Workforce Readiness Packages and Change Discussions.
  • Interacts with the IPPS-A Program STRATCOM team to ensure proper communication of role impacts and engagement of key stakeholders and change network personnel.
  • Participates in IPPS-A design phase activities including job and system access design.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree with at least 2 years of related experience
  • Experience in change management support including role and job design experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in supporting development and delivery of a software system under the DODI 5000.2.
  • Human Performance or Workforce Preparation experience with training and change management.
  • Experience in SAP or ERP software implementation projects.
  • Experience in DOD military personnel policies, processes, and procedures, Army experience preferred.

Must be a US Citizen and possess a Security Clearance due to Federal Contracting Requirements
