Declare is a SaaS solution that accelerates women into leadership positions.

Declare is dedicated to helping companies accelerate women into leadership positions to create a fairer and equal world. We do this by providing a learning platform and membership network to give women the action-oriented content and connections to take tangible steps towards the C-suite, in partnership with corporate employers. We are seeking a dynamic VP of Sales and Growth to own our sales pipeline and build our Sales team to deliver ambitious topline revenue growth.

We sell our customized professional development program directly to corporations who select women to participate. As we evolve our delivery model from a hybrid of in-person and digital to a fully virtual platform, we are driving ambitious growth by rolling out the distinctive Declare experience to women faster and at greater scale than ever before.


We need a VP of Sales and Growth with a strong network and hunger to close new business.

As VP of Sales and Growth at Declare, you will be responsible for selling our program to corporations who want to accelerate their women into leadership positions. You will bring strong relationships and the ability to build new ones, particularly with firms in finance, consulting, law, media, and tech. You will have a hunger to close new business and be entrepreneurial about packaging contracts to deliver on our clients’ objectives. You will have the aspiration, grit, and strategic brain to be all-in with the leadership team about how we achieve ambitious revenue targets in the coming years.  

We are early-stage and we need someone who wants to be both a strategic thought partner and hunter-gatherer for new deals. Comfortable with wearing many different hats and getting your hands dirty, it won’t scare you that initially we will also look to you to manage our existing pipeline, client relationships, and go-to-market strategy. In the near future, you will advise and help to curate the broader team structure, including account managers and a sales team.

About you:

You will have successfully delivered strong revenue growth at a SaaS start-up before.

You will be a doer in every sense of the word, happy to step up and strategize on the future objectives and direction of the business, to pick up existing client relationships, to forge new ones, and most of all to set and deliver ambitious revenue goals. You will previously have delivered aggressive growth at a SaaS start-up and be eager to be part of a new rapid growth trajectory. You will be able to prove your commercial nous with a strong track record of results in an early-stage start-up. We expect you to grow with us on this exciting journey and be a core part of our long-term leadership team.


  • Define the goals and strategy to meet ambitious recurring revenue targets.

  • Maintain relationships with corporate clients and up-sell opportunities throughout the year.

  • Own the go-to-market strategy for Declare, build and maintain a strong pipeline and generate new leads.

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team.

  • Oversee development of sales collateral and systematize sales operations.

  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly forecasting based on historical sales data.

About You:

  • 5+ years SaaS sales management experience

  • Worked in a sales team in a seed or series A stage startup through their first $10m in ARR

  • Designed high performing sales processes, systems, and automation

  • Experience building and managing sales programs including messaging, metrics, methodology, and tools

  • Demonstrable track record of success in sales and managing sales forecast

  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives and team members

  • Experience recruiting and enabling top talent

  • High caliber, dynamic personality that promotes a positive culture

  • Excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills
