About the right team member:
We are looking to hire a VP of Engineering to join our team and bring our technology platform to the next level. You will be responsible for shaping the technical future by setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap and ensuring that goals and objectives are met.
We launched in 2017 and have established the company as the leading leadership community for female leaders with nearly 1,000 members and 50 participating corporate partners. The VP of Engineering will be instrumental in accelerating the business through product development and growing a strong team of engineers. Candidates must be self-starting, adaptable, and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
Scope and scale out our technology platform
Hire, lead, mentor and grow our engineering team
Cultivate a deep understanding of the memberbase throughout their lifecycle. Advocate for solutions based on their needs and pain points
Build integrated learning and community features as the foundational features of the platform
Make data driven decisions - keep projects on time, within budget and within scope
Collect product ideas from across the organization to develop user-centric and scalable solutions to business problems
Manage, prioritize, and communicate metric goals, experiments, product backlog and roadmap
Test product hypotheses through user research and supporting engineers on technical discovery
You’ll be effective if you have:
Outstanding organization and prioritization skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience building a platform that takes a company/offering from product-market fit to a scalable global platform with hundreds of corporate clients and thousands of users
10+ years of overall engineering experience, including a proven record of successful leadership in data-intensive organizations
The ability to absorb technical concepts and make tradeoff decisions
