BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

GLOBAL ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – Central Region

 

  • $140K Base, 50/50 Compensation Plan and OTE of $280K. Quota of $1.8M.
  • Average deal sizes range from $200K-$600K with sale cycles ranging from 6 months to 18 months depending on size and complexity
  • Systems Software Sale in the Application Performance (APM) and Monitoring, Network, Software Defined, Server, Storage, IT Services Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) space.
  • Can have Event Management or Application Portfolio Management experience as well.
  • Fortune 2000 Global Accounts of no less than $1B in size.
  • Midwest Territory.
  • 60-100 Named Global 2000 Accounts.
  • Up to 30%-40% travel.
  • Virtual home office with preference in Chicago or Minneapolis, Milwaukee.
  • Sold into CIO’s, VP’s, Architects, Operations.
  • Reports to Regional Sales Director.
  • Markets served are Financial, Technology, Service Providers, Retail and others.

High energy, collaborative and strategic. Looking for a strong, self-starting, consistent performer that is innovative with obvious passion and demonstrated track record of sales over-achievement. Strong grasp and demonstrated ability to sell and deliver business value at every touchpoint in the selling process. You must have understanding of the Challenger Sales Model that sales in today’s environment is more complex and highly strategic, that top performing reps need to lead with insight and challenge clients’ assumptions from the IT level, to the Corporate Executive Board level. This is someone that can identify and build consensus among executives that lead to identifying and solving new high-value propositions and turn them into unforeseen, validated, business opportunities.
