In May of we launched the Parity Professional Program (P3). P3 was created to generate diversity in financial services firms and the companies they invest in by offering women the opportunity to develop robust skills through our Parity Talks curriculum and create meaningful relationships through Parity Pod groups.

THE JOB

We are looking for a Community Manager to lead member engagement in London for the Parity Professional Program (P3). Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, communicator who has client management experience. They are excited to be operating in a fast-paced environment on a small, rapidly-growing team. This is a great opportunity for an account manager at an agency who is looking to get into a great, mission-driven startup; or perhaps you worked in consulting for a few years and are looking to transition into a growing business.

This person needs to do well with ambiguity and thrive in and stressful situations, as they are helping to orchestrate many moving people and pieces. This individual should be a world-class communicator who is passionate about doing great work alongside remarkable women.

You will lead the member communication with participants of the Parity Professional Program. Our community consists of remarkable women looking to lead the next generation of finance and technology companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day communication with members of the emerging, rising and advanced program

  • Manage member relationships and help to identify new ways for Parity to add value to base

  • Develop best practices engagement guidelines to ensure a positive and active community experience

  • Ongoing community sentiment analysis, insight, and recommendations

  • Play an active role in listening to and monitoring social conversations across our channels and within the social space to garner insights that will help optimize social marketing strategies

  • Create, plan, and execute on engagement strategies for delivering online & offline learning

  • Partner with Parity’s head of curriculum to find subject matter experts to deliver in-person Parity Talks that are relevant and interesting to our member base

  • Conduct regular quality checks within programs and community forums, proactively addressing themes, trends, and problem areas - offering guidance and direction for all programs

  • Work alongside partners to develop strategic communication plans to provide direction for all communication within the community, providing insights and recommendations for engagement emails

  • Develop promotion plans to increase usage and membership for the community

  • Design and execute networking opportunities bridge the gap between large-scale Parity talks and small-scale Pod meetings

  • Evaluate data to drive product insights and continually improve metrics around online / offline course usage and satisfaction

  • Assist in the overall strategic direction of the program

  • Assist in the development of program expansion goals

  • Develop, operationalize, and have overall accountability for member satisfaction

  • Serve as primary program liaison to London members and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate partners

  • We're looking for someone with 2-4 years of prior work experience, with a killer work ethic, polished communication skills, infectious positive energy, and a passion for fast-paced and dynamic environments.

  • You are savvy with data You know how to translate data into insights for our partners and internal product team. You are an unabashed fan of and can slice, dice, and visualize data to uncover important trends in engagement.

  • You are comfortable with minimal direction but high expectations

  • You are equally able to work alongside a partner or team as well as have an ability to take full ownership of a project from start to finish

  • You believe deeply in the importance of transparent and honest communication

  • You always follow up and follow through

  • You are not a person who says, “That’s not my job”

  • You believe that when work is done well, magic is in the details

  • You are active on social media, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
