Responsible for driving the development and execution of company’s market/growth strategies in the region and will also manage the business for profitability on a monthly and annual basis. Partner with the Regional Operations Manager to achieve both short and longer-term objectives. Maximize sales in terms of profit, volume, price, market share and customer satisfaction. Represent the company with major customers, officials of federal, state and local governmental agencies and in the communities in which company operates. Direct supervisory responsibly for the Region’s sales organization and the development of the sales/support staff. SOUTH CENTRAL US LOCATION. Four-year degree with at least 5+ years of sales and/or sales management experience in the construction materials industries. Must have knowledge of product applications and specifications, pricing, and promotional technique as well as market and competitor analysis. Must have strong Interpersonal, financial, negotiating, analytical and organizational skills. Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interact with a diverse group of people both internally and externally.
